Description

BA-11 is a solid product in flake or powder form used for the acceleration of thickening times in all types of Portland cement slurries. It is usually used at a concentration of up to 4%BWOC. Care must be taken when using this product at higher concentration as it can cause slurries to “flash-set”. This product reduces the thickening time and increases the early strength development of the set cement.

Application

BA-11 usually added to the mix water at 2-4%BWOC. The addition of BA-11 will increase the temperature of the mixwater and this must be taken into consideration when mixing a slurry because it can effect the thickening time.
